There has never been a better time to check out what eXtension is doing in the Second Life virtual 3D world. eXtension’s Virtual State Fair kicks off Wednesday, October 6th with five days of exhibits, educator presentations, a photo contest, live music, midway rides, cake decorating, and geocaching, capped off by a talent search and gala parade on Sunday. Several events will also be available streamed live in Adobe Connect. The fair is a unique opportunity to explore the potential for networking, collaboration, and community-based education in an immersive social virtual world.

The fair and related activities will be held on the Morrill SIM Complex in Second Life. A schedule list of daily and special events of activities are noted below for your enjoyment.
Fair Schedule 11 am to 9 pm (PDT/SLT) daily
Wednesday through Friday 12 noon to 2 p.m. Cooperative Extension Sampler: Give us 30 Minutes and We'll Teach You Something Useful. Learn about parenting, home gardening, food safety and more from Extension experts.
Wednesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Polls open for public voting for photo contest; hunt for hidden treasure in the Morrill Geocache event
